Going Green Performance Task

This performance task is part of the Smarter Balanced Practice Test. The task stimulus describes a recycling contest in which students in different grade levels compete to collect the most recyclable items. The task requires students to reason about data represented in a table showing numbers of items collected by three grade levels participating in the contest. There are five items in the task. The task is designed to support students in building directly on their reasoning from earlier items of the task in order to complete later items of the task.
